On May 31, police spotted a vehicle driving erratically in Newmarket and pulled it over in the area of Davis Dr. and Jane St.
Police soon discovered the driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended licence.
They also could smell marijuana and the driver admitted to be in possession of five pounds of cannabis products he was delivering to an online dispensary.
A search of the vehicle found four pounds of cannabis packaged for sale, more than 60 packages of cannabis gummies and more than 50 packages of shatter.
Bobby Vongphakdy, 26, of Aurora was taken into custody and charged with possession of over 30 grams in a public place, possession for the purpose of distribution, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available and driving under suspension.
