MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB)– Marion County Deputies also put another man behind bars this weekend, this time for armed robbery.
Back in August, Sylvester Johnson posed as a customer intending to buy CBD oil from his victim.
Investigators say he threatened the victim with a gun, stole several thousands of dollars worth of oil and fled.
Deputies finally located Johnson this weekend and took him into custody.
„We do believe it was an isolated incident at this point in time we don’t think there’s any threat to anyone in the area,” said MCSO Public Information Officer Cecilia Koon.
Johnson has also served time for driving with a suspended license.
He is being held at the Marion County jail on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
