CHICAGO, IL — If you’ve been thinking about a career in the cannabis industry, The Yard Illinois will be holding a job this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16 and Nov. 17. Company representatives will meet with interested candidates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, at the Chicago Marriott at Medical District/UIC Hotel, 625 S. Ashland Ave. @ Harrison Street.
With recreational marijuana sales becoming legal in Illinois on Jan. 1, cannabis companies are hiring staff as growing facilities and dispensaries expand to meet consumer demand.
The Yard Illinois is an adult use cannabis company which has applied for adult use cannabis dispensary licenses. The company is interviewing individuals for openings once the licenses are approved in May 2020. Salaries range $31,000 to $65,000 annually. Available positions include:
- District manager
- Marketing
- Store manager
- Assistant manager
- Registered nurse
- Budtender
