TheraSolv Botanicals, a CBD-focused retailer, has plans to open a brick-and-mortar location near the Atlanta BeltLine in January 2020, founder Franz Carranza (pictured above) shared with What Now Atlanta in an email.

The storefront will be on Monroe Drive, near the Virginia Ave. intersection, next door to Midtown Butcher, Mint Salon Atlanta, The Whole Dog Market, and Arden’s Garden.

“As one of the first Atlanta CBD Extraction and direct sales company we needed to ensure we opened our first storefront in the center of the city where TheraSolv Botanicals was born,” Carranza said.

TheraSolv’s born-on date was 2017, as a result of research Carranza was apart of at Georgia Tech as a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineer candidate.

He focused on working with Hemp and developed a method to extract full-spectrum CBD from the flower in a 100 percent natural process.

“We are not a white-label, we don’t purchase our product from a major corporation and then stick our label on it. We personally hand pick our hemp from our hemp farm partner Unique Botanicals in Oregon. Every product we have is handmade by us and tested by a third-party lab.”

The production and sale of hemp and hemp products are legal under the HB 213 Georgia Hemp Farming Act.

However, only growers licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture are permitted to grow and process hemp in the state of Georgia.

The Federal Farm Bill of 2018 classifies Hemp as an industrial crop, making the CBD extracted from hemp legal in all 50 states.

In addition to its CBD products, TheraSolv will host DIY events and classes.

“I want to work with the TheraSolv team to revolutionize how the cannabis plant is cultivated and used in households and industries throughout Georgia and the nation.”
