RACINE, Wis. (WISN) — The Racine County sheriff says his deputies seized marijuana and THC vapes from an Illinois driver.
A deputy stopped the driver about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on I-94 south in the Village of Yorkville for a defective headlight.
The deputy reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.
The driver, Jose G. Lopez Diaz, 28, and passenger Edgar A. Montes Gonzalez, 32, were held as the car was searched.
The search yielded 315.6 grams of marijuana, four packages of 500 mg THC gummies, 33 THC vape cartridges, 17.3 grams of THC daps and drug paraphernalia.
The two men were each charged with possession with intent as a repeat drug offender, possession of THC as a repeat drug offender and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were each ordered held on $10,100 bond.
