Drug charges – News – Ellwood City Ledger

• Jason Santellan, 40, of 416 Short St., Ellwood City, faces trial in Lawrence County Court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Ellwood City police said they found THC wax on Santellan during a stop on Sept. 16 on Crescent Avenue near Cherry Way.

• David Michael Tomon, 55, of 226 Portersville Road, Apartment 8, Ellport, has pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and been sentenced to pay a total of $793 in fines and court costs. Ellwood City police said they found a baggie of marijuana on Tomon when they stopped a vehicle he was in on July 26 at Portersville and Railroad roads.

• Bernard Francis Selzer, 50, of 1855 Stoughton Road, Slippery Rock, has entered the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first-time offenders for six months probation on charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and careless driving. State police filed the charges against Selzer after they said they found him passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle on June 19 at the Sheetz convenience store on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township. Police said they found heroin, marijuana and a vaporizer on him.

• Patrick Clay Solomon, 22, of 923 15th St., Beaver Falls, pleaded guilty on Dec. 19 to disorderly conduct in Lawrence County Court in exchange for charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia being dropped. He will be sentenced on Feb. 6. State police charged Solomon after stopping a vehicle he was in on July 9 on Bridge Street in Ellwood City and finding marijuana blunts, THC capsules and a vaporizer inside that he admitted were his.

• Jerimiah Jam Funkhouser, 36, of 518 Ninth St., Ellwood City, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia in exchange for a marijuana possession charge being dropped. He was sentenced to pay a total of $574 in fines and court costs. State police charged Funkhouser after a traffic stop on June 26 in the 1000 block of Hickernell Road in Wayne Township.

• Joseph Mitchel Serjak, 29, of 148 Vance Road, New Castle, has pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia in Lawrence County Court in exchange for drug possessions charges being dropped. He was sentenced to pay a total of $843 in fines and court costs. Ellwood City police charged Serjak after stopping a vehicle he was in on July 29 in the 800 block of Pershing Street.

• Robert Gene McDonald, 29, of 115 Vista Lane, Ellwood City, after a traffic stop by state police on Oct. 30 in the 600 block of Portersvile Road in Perry Township. Police said McDonald gave them a false name and found on him a clear smoking pipe, bronze wool and a clear baggie with suspected cocaine residue inside it. McDonald is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, false identification to police and disorderly conduct.
