The city of Chicago will host its first-ever cannabis resource fair, a one-stop shop for residents to learn more about new pot regulations and employment opportunities.
The fair, at the UIC Forum on Feb. 1, will bring cannabis businesses, industry experts, government agencies and legal aid organizations all under one roof, the city says. Residents will be able to learn more about city rules and participate in cannabis advocacy groups.
Presentations and discussions include record expungement and paths to working in the industry and applying for a dispensary license. The fair will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road. To RSVP, click here, and more information is here.
