Curaleaf New York, which has dispensaries in Carle Place and Forest Hills, is expanding its medical cannabis offerings.
This includes a newly launched all-natural cannabis flower refill for its pod product, which became available in 2019.
And earlier this year, the company began to offer fast-acting disposable vape pens, as well as a chewable cannabis gel product.
“Our mission at Curaleaf is to help improve lives by providing clarity around cannabis and confidence around consumption,” Olga Krueger, president of Curaleaf New York, said in a statement.
“Offering patients more diverse, high-quality products alongside professional, trusted guidance is the best way to encourage participation in the regulated, legal market for medical cannabis,” she added.
Curaleaf’s New York dispensaries are staffed with pharmacists and other medical professionals to answer questions or provide guidance.
The ground flower pods and refills are free from pesticides, fungus and other contaminants. They are available in regular and extra strength. The chewables allow for a slower onset and last longer than vaporization. The vape pen is fast acting.
Medical marijuana products are available in New York State via registered practioners to patients who qualify. More information is available on the state’s Department of Health website.
