Two males have been arrested after a large cannabis farm was discovered in the St Matts area.
Police seized hundreds of plants being made ready for sale on the street.
A Preston Police spokesman said:
Preston NPT Task Force attended two addresses in the St Matts area yesterday, after gathering intelligence around them both.
Inside the addresses were substantial Cannabis cultivations with a combined total of over 500 plants, as well as some drying, ready for sale.
The addresses, which are owned by landlords, had been completely converted to grow cannabis, with extensive damage caused, as well as presenting a huge fire risk as they were connected to other houses.
Two males, aged 20 and 24, from inside the addresses at Ribbleton Lane have been arrested and are awaiting interview by our colleagues at Immigration.
Preston NPT Task Force will continue to disrupt Organised Crime in your area and protect the vulnerable persons involved within.
