Research by Canada’s Canopy Growth Corp. found that CBD increases the lifespan of worms. The company said its research, expected to be released this week, found no sign of toxic effects from CBD when used over the worms’ entire lives. Worms are commonly used in early-stage testing of pharmaceuticals to detect toxic effects when working with new compounds.
