The engraved 24-karat gold-plated commemorative edition Volcano
Storz & Bickel, a subsidiary of Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX:WEED) (NASDAQ:CGC), has released 100 Volcano Classic Signature Edition versions of its iconic Volcano Classic vaporizer in celebration of the device’s 20th anniversary.
The $999 gold-plated, numbered, and engraved version of the Volcano Classic, which was invented 20 years ago, went on sale on December 4. Despite limited availability, there is also a $599 gold-plated version, the Volcano Classic Gold edition, that is not numbered or engraved and will be on sale through April 20, 2021. That vaporizer features a 24-karat gold-plated hot air generator.

Storz & Bickel has also produced a documentary chronicling Markus Storz and Jürgen Bickel’s story, from the invention of the table top Volcano to becoming the first company to produce medically-certified vaporizers. The documentary will be released in collaboration with Rolling Stone magazine and will be previewed on RollingStone.com starting December 4.
