Applying for a cannabis cultivation license can be a hard and expensive process. Some states require up to a $100,000 application fee just to apply, says Noelle Skodzinski, Editor from Cannabis Business Times.

Equipment and Facility Layouts

This one is a little self-explanatory. Making sure your equipment in your facilities is up to par with industry standards in your area is a great way to be accepted.

Include a detailed layout of your facility, including ventilation, hemp storage areas, HVAC systems, and watering. Don’t forget to include all your security measures as well.

Knowledge

Knowledge is power and will help you in your application. A master grower with several years of experience can really boost your application, especially if they know the ins and outs of the cannabis life cycle.

This will help big time with the third part you should be thinking about.

Quality Consistency

Quality consistency means that you are producing cannabis to the standards your state requires. Having employees in charge of monitoring the life stages of the cannabis you grow will help ensure your license approval.

Make sure they can also troubleshoot any stresses the plant may face while it’s growing.
