Police: Over 2 kilos of THC products seized during arrest in Greenwich – CT Post

GREENWICH — Officers seized more than 2 kilograms worth of THC products from a New York man’s vehicle during an arrest earlier this week near a park in Greenwich, according to police.

Artem Golikov, 24, of Armonk, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory and sale of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.

Around 2:20 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the area of Pemberwick Park on a report of possible “narcotic activity” involving a Hyundai with New York plates, according to an arrest report.

Officers found the vehicle parked on Pemberwick Road with two individuals inside — one of them later identified as Golikov, police said.

The other individual admitted to buying marijuana edibles from Golikov to officers at the scene and told them he negotiated the purchase through social media, police said. He told officers he allegedly paid Golikov electronically.

Officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and found more than 2 kilograms worth of THC products inside the car, police said. The compound tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the main active ingredient of cannabis.

Police said officers seized about 464 grams of marijuana in plastic bags, four bags of cannabis-infused peach rings, three bags of cannabis-infused gummies, one bag of cannabis-infused mini rainbow belts, 20 bags of cannabis-infused gummy worms, 64 THC vape cartridges, 25 THC chocolate edibles, a digital scale, an iPhone and $352 in cash.

The total amount of THC product seized was 2,682.6 grams, police said.
