Here’s What You Have To Look Forward To From Seth Rogen’s Cannabis Line ‘Houseplant’ – Forbes

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s cannabis brand, Houseplant, will be available in the United States starting March 11. You might remember Houseplant from making headlines in 2019. Back then, the brand was preparing for its initial launch in Canada. Now the cannabis and home goods brand will be available stateside as well.

“Houseplant was born out of our love and passion for cannabis, design and art,” said Rogen. “Evan and I also recognize that our lifelong dream of starting a cannabis lifestyle brand like Houseplant comes with a commitment to changing the unjust and racist cannabis laws that still exist in today’s society. We understand our responsibility to help right those wrongs and are dedicated to creating a more diverse, equitable cannabis industry.”

Houseplant is launching in the United States with three flower strains: two sativas and one indica. It will also be launching a Block Table Lighter, a Vinyl Box Set and an Ashtray Set designed by Seth. Afterward, it plans to launch a new product every few weeks.

Those products have already made a name for the company in the design world. Houseplant was a Gold Winner at the Clio Cannabis Awards in 2019 for its packaging and brand design.

MORE FOR YOU

That mid-centrury modern look extends not only to the homegoods the company sells but also the packaging it uses for its cannabis.

Each one of the strains in the Houseplant line has been personally tested by Rogen and Goldberg. The strains are each named after weather phenomena. The sativas are called Diablo Wind and Pancake Ice, and the indica is named Pink Moon. Each offers a unique flavor profile as well as high THC percentages to give users the best possible experience.

“Introducing Houseplant in the U.S. has been a long time coming and we’ve taken a disciplined approach to set ourselves up for long term success,” said Michael Mohr, co-founder and chief executive officer of Houseplant. “We have spent years obsessing about the underserved cannabis consumer, researching and ideating what the holistic Houseplant experience should look like. We are proud to share this beautiful collection of Housegoods and cannabis strains with the public.”

If you want to get your hands on Houseplant, the company’s cannabis products will initially be available in California through a delivery service accessible through the company’s website, with plans to roll the products out to select dispensaries across the state later this Spring. The Homegoods will be available for shipping across the United States and can be ordered on the Houseplant website.
