Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Green Wellness in Caledonia is introducing CBD-based hangover kits.
CBD can help with headaches, nausea, and post-drinking anxiety and depression. Green Wellness’s new kit includes CBD beverage drops that can be added to alcoholic drinks, a CBD patch, CBD gum and a water bottle.
The kit also is perfect for parties, weddings, vacations, and bachelor and bachelorette parties.
According to information from Green Wellness, CBD can be effective in treating a hangover-induced headache. The dehydration caused by alcohol consumption causes an inflammatory response in the structures that surround the brain, which results in a headache. CBD has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, so CBD could have a positive effect in reducing the pain induced with a hangover.
CBD often is confused with another popular cannabinoid, THC. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive and won’t make the user feel high or stoned.
Hangover kits are available for purchase at Green Wellness’s website. Pregnant women and lactating mothers should not use this product. The company recommends users consult a medical doctor before using any new product.
