Avon has launched its first 'clean’ facial oil infused with CBD — Green Goddess.
Green Goddess Facial Oil contains 99% natural ingredients including CBD, hemp, sunflower and jojoba seed oils, turmeric and squalene oil. It is formulated to „soothe stressed out skin,” the brand says, and is suitable for sensitive skin. It is also sustainably sourced, vegan, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist-tested.
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is becoming more widely used in skincare, since it provides therapeutic benefits in relieving irritation, reducing redness and skin discomfort. CBD is a compound extracted from the cannabis Sativa plant (aka hemp), and it is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and essential fatty acids.
Green Goddess Facial Oil looks stylish, in a dropper bottle that sports a minimalistic look. The white dropper bulb conveys „clean.” The carton is FSC-certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, which means that the paperboard is sourced from from sustainably managed forests.
